| Bio: |  Name: Captain Jack Harkness Age: 180, give or take. Height: 6'1" Point taken from canon timeline, or nature of AU-ness: Taken immediately following the Series Two Season Preimere (KKBB) Brief Personality Description: Flexible, Flirty, Captain of the Innuendo Squad, throws himself into living with everything he's got, even when he knows it's going to end up with him hurt like hell. He's a good guy, and he'll do a lot for the people he loves. Unfortunately, he doesn't always *get* people and he has his share of flaws. He can have a martyr complex, be patronizing, self-centered, and extremely arrogant. Brief History: Jack's grew up in a small town on a back-water world in the 51st century. He joined the Time Agency when he was old enough and worked for them until they took two years of his memory. After that he went rogue and spent time as a con-man, trying to get those answers back. During the course of a con, in WWII, he met the Doctor and Rose. The con turned into a mess that nearly put an end to life on earth. It got cleaned up with a lot of help from the Doctor, and he nearly blew himself up to stop a bomb landing on the site where people had gathered. The Doctor saved him just before his ship exploded and, for a while, he continued to travel with them. When they ran into the Dalek's on Satellite Five, Jack fought with the Doctor. He expected to - and did - die. He woke up, though he doesn't know how or why, just in time to the sound of the TARDIS. He ran for it, but wasn't fast enough, and arrived just in time to see the TARDIS fading completely out of site. He went after them intending to land in the 20th century, in Cardiff. He missed, and landed in Cardiff in the 19th century instead, and the trip burned out his vortex manipulator. He was stuck. He traveled a lot, and died a lot. He eventually figured out that he couldn't - wouldn't - stay dead. He was going to live forever, apparently, and he had no idea why. He waited on the Doctor, a version of the Doctor that matched his timeline. While he waited, he got involved with Torchwood. When Torchwood fell, he rebuilt it. He found people, he lost people, he collected alien technology and tried to keep the earth safe. Sometimes it worked, sometimes he fell the fuck down. Sometimes he's lost track with what makes humanity humane, and sometimes he's been so human he was sure he was going to bleed out. He has just returned to the hub, following events of KKBB. It's his second trip here, and he remembers everything that happened the first go around - but remembered none of it while he was out there in the 'real' world.
